HPH parkrun Championships parkrunday 34
There were a nice round 50 Hyde Park Harriers out parkrunning this week across 11 different venues. These included Hannah Roberts who was the first Hyde Park Harrier to parkrun at Conwy RSPB Nature Reserve in North Wales and Samantha Scarlett who was the first Hyde Park Harrier to make it up to the new parkrun in Prudhoe just outside Newcastle.
There were five PBs. These were by Scott Watson with another first finish at Camperdown, Dundee in a time of 18:57; Jeremy Forber with 23:49 & Diane Aykroyd with 37:08 at Cross Flatts; Jimmy Sheldon with 18:55 at Roundhay; and Aron Hinds with 19:49 at Woodhouse Moor.
Michael Vargas joined the parkrun 100 club in style as first finisher at Roundhay in a time of 18:07. Claudia Bauer joined him in the parkrun 100 club with a slightly more sedate run of 25:57 at Woodhouse Moor. At the other end of the scale Paul Dickens did his first ever parkrun with his run at Woodhouse Moor in 24:37.
