parkrunday 15th July 2017

There were 55 Hyde Park Harriers out parkrunning across 15 different venues this week both home and abroad. There were three international HPH parkrun tourists. These were Matt Jackson at Malahide Castle in Dublin; Adam Lomas at Hamilton Lake in New Zealand; and Vikki Hawkins at Crissy Field in San Francisco, USA. Closer to home Liz and birthday boy Chris Jones were the first Hyde Park Harriers to parkrun at Stanley Park, Blackpool. I wonder if they had a nibble on a little stick of Blackpool rock after their stroll around the park. 🙂

There were three PBs this week. These were by Laura Edwards with 27:48 and Christina Edwards with 47:21 at Temple Newsam; and Chris Bracchi with 26:47 at Wakefield Thornes.

Top Age Grade% by the ladies was 63.23% by Lorraine Beavis and for the men was 80.72% by Liam O’Brien – both at Woodhouse Moor .
