This week there were 55 HPH women and 63 HPH men out parkrunning across 45 venues worldwide.
Sixteen Hyde Park Harriers travelled to try out a new course. One of these courses was new to the HPH list. This was Frank’s Farm on the outskirts of Cambridge by Robyn Johnson. Frank’s Farm is a Food & Drink Retail Park, where local residents, schools, farmers and food retailers trade real, local food. It has a dog friendly Workshop Kitchen serving breakfast, lunch and cakes; a Grain Store Deli with artisan deli products; an artisan chocolatier – The Chocolate Barn; The Webbsour Bakery; an award winning ice cream shop – Sundae Service; and Remi’s Butchers selling sustainably farmed local meat. The parkrun course is one anti-clockwise lap with an additional out and back spur in the middle, on a mixture of concrete and gravel farm tracks and trail paths.
There were two first finishing Hyde Park Harriers. These were Lucas Johnstone in a PB time of 17:12 at Roundhay and Frazer Carr in 16:52 at Great Denham. There were six other PBs. These were by George Webster with 30:12 at Woodhouse Moor; Hollie Imisson with 27:38 at Rothwell; Carol Rogers with 26:08 at Peel; Nicola Harold with 36:34 at Roundhay; Edward Hale with 19:21 at Lister Park; and Nick Shakhlevich with 18:51 at Conyngham Hall.
George Sullivan, Julie Robson and Matthew Gray all joined the parkrun 250 club with their runs at Woodhouse Moor.
Top female Age Grade% was 73.21% by Carol Rogers at Peel and top male Age Grade% was 77.08% by Frazer Carr at Great Denham.
