HPH parkrun Championships parkrunday 22

For the second week in a row a new country has been added to the parkrun world. Last week it was Canada and this week it was Sweden. And once again there was a Hyde Park Harrier at the inaugural event in the new country as Bev Miller made it over to Haga parkrun in the Stockholm suburb of Solna.

There were 45 Hyde Park Harriers out parkrunning at 16 different venues this week. There were six PBs. These were by Rachel Eales with 22:03 at Barry Island; Hilary Lund with 27:23 and Clare Maxwell with 27:26 at Cross Flatts; Tom Pollard with 19:05 at Fountains Abbey; Michael Vargas with 17:27 at Temple Newsam; and Liam O’Brien with 16:25 at Woodhouse Moor – a time that gave him the highest ever Age Grade% by a male Hyde Park Harrier at a parkrun of 83.15%.
