There were only 73 Hyde Park Harriers out parkrunning this week, but what they lacked in quantity they made up in variety with 28 different venues being visited. These included two new venues added to the UK list and two new venues added to the international list of Hyde Park Harriers’ venues. The new UK venues were Loch Neaton near Watton in Norfolk by Tom Elcock and Centre Vale in Todmorden by Clare Maxwell and Claire Hougham. The new international venues were the Delaware and Raritan Canal in the US by Steve Milne who did his 200th parkrun there and Mount Gambier – between Melbourne and Adelaide in South Australia by Ralph Kidner who did his 300th parkrun there.
There was one first finishing Hyde Park Harrier – Amy Young at Frickley Country in a time of 20:47 in her first visit there. There were four PBs. These were by Honor Baldry with 21:51 and Tami Bond with 29:41 at Woodhouse Moor; and Laura Hastings with 25:25 and Vicky Houghton with 27:56 at Potternewton.
Jane-Marie Bracchi joined the parkrun 100 club with her run at Watergrove. Chris Jones remains on 499 after having a week off from parkrunning.
Top Age Grade% by the ladies was 70.64% by Amy Young at Frickley County and for the men was 74.16% by Gordon Crawford at Woodhouse Moor.
