There were 50 HPH Women and 37 HPH Men out parkrunning across 34 different venues this week. One new venue was added to the HPH list – Sandringham in Norfolk – where Frazer Carr was second finisher after running the two laps in the park surrounding Sandringham House. The course description on the parkrun site mentions post run refreshments not to be missed – “home made energy balls”. That must keep the royal resident busy.

There were no first finishing Hyde Park Harriers this week, but there were a dozen PBs. These were by Abdu Ahmed with 19:41 at Woodhouse Moor; Sam Dooley with 23:23 at Pontefract; Alexandra Natalie Smith with 24:21 at Brueton; Rosalie Dang with 25:05 at Hartlepool; Nicki Derrick with 27:21 at Middleton Woods; Cara Gates with 21:46, Sarah Underwood with 22:49, Alexander Perkin with 22:53, Danni Bryant with 24:45, Jane Prust with 26:26 and Stephen Prust with 34:27 at Armley; and Michelle Dickson with 29:08 at Chevin Forest.

Claudia Bauer joined the parkrun 250 club with her run at Woodhouse Moor and it won’t be long before she joins the parkrun volunteer 250 club – being just eight away – with many as the Woodhouse Moor volunteer co-ordinator.

Top female Age Grade% was 75.54% by Jane Prust at Armley and top male Age Grade% was 77.37% by Rupert Jordan at Woodhouse Moor.
