There were 64 HPH women and 68 HPH men out parkrunning across 39 venues on the first Saturday parkrunday of 2024.
Twelve Hyde Park Harriers travelled to try out a new course but none of them were new the HPH list.
There were two first finishing Hyde Park Harriers. These were Michael Vargas with 18:28 at Temple Newsam and Thomas Moulding with 17:19 at Cross Flatts. There were thirteen PBs. These were by David Grealy with 18:40, Joseph Elmes with 18:41, Jonathan Spain with 18:43, Nick Shakhlevich with 18:57, Andrew Dewar with 20:23, Craig Morland with 22:06 and Dan Lee with 53:10 – all at Woodhouse Moor where five of the top eight finishers were Hyde Park Harriers; Eleanor Parkhill with 33:10 at Pollock; Conor Gould with 27:52 at Whitley Bay; Richard Cartwright with 24:28 and Jane Prust with 29:32 at Temple Newsam; Michelle Dickson with 26:17 at Monsal Trail; and Andrew Black with 20:10 at Potternewton.
Rebecca Goody joined the parkrun 50 club with her run at Woodhouse Moor and Monika Pugeviciute joined the parkrun 250 club with her run at Pymmes.
Top female Age Grade% was 70.01% by Carol Rogers at Heaton and top male Age Grade% was 74.69% by Thomas Moulding at Cross Flatts.
