This week there were 53 HPH women and 67 HPH men out parkrunning across 38 venues worldwide.

wenty-one Hyde Park Harriers travelled to try out a new course. Two of these courses were new to the HPH list. These were Beecraigs Country Park in Scotland by Emma Amor and the inaugural York Community Woodland by Alexander Perkin, Robert Butler and Anna Moger.

Beecraigs Country Park is nestled high in the Bathgate Hills near the historic town of Linlithgow. It affords impressive views of the surrounding countryside, including the Forth Valley, Linlithgow Loch, Binny Craig and Palace, the three Forth Bridges and the Pentland Hills. The Park offers a range of amenities including walks & trails; play area; skills area and mountain bike trails; BBQ hire; caravan & camping site including two lodges; animal attraction (Red Deer, Highland Cattle, Belted Galloway Cattle, Hebridean/North Ronaldsay/Shetland Sheep); fly fishery; Visitor Centre and Cafe. The parkrun course is a single lap on a mixture of gravel and trail paths.

The newly established York Community Woodland near the village of Knapton to the west of York, is a growing haven for nature enthusiasts, wildlife, and anyone seeking a tranquil escape into the great outdoors. The parkrun course consists of two laps of a multi-user hard-packed gravel trail. The trail is largely flat.

There were two first finishing Hyde Park Harriers. These were Clare Slorach in 21:12 at Rothwell and George Anderson in 18:01 at Kirkharle Courtyard. There were two PBs. These were by Lucas Johnstone with 17:37 at Woodhouse Moor and Paul Ramsden with 25:08 at Rothay Park.

Pablo de Pablo Carrion joined the parkrun 50 club with his run at Potternewton.

Top female Age Grade% was 73.92% by Carol Rogers at Heaton and top male Age Grade% was 74.10% by George Anderson at Kirkharle Courtyard.
