HPH parkrun championship

Last year we tried a new format for our parkrun championship and Hannah Marshall and Chris Jones were the winners.

We are very lucky at the club that we have Ken Fox pulling all our parkrun info together and doing the reports each week full of interesting facts, even though he isn’t a member.
From April we are running the same format as last year.
You will still be judged on age grading but 11 scores will count.

So April to the end of February will be the calendar year . Each month you will be given a parkrun which counts for the month. April will be Woodhouse Moor, you can run there all month or just once, only your best age grading will count.

We are hoping this will be enjoyable to everyone. It will free up people to volunteer and they can still tour. We will move around the local parkruns each month. We may arrange group outings.  December is the exception to the rest of the championship as any parkrun will count this month as we know people travel around to see family.

Points this year will be 100 down to 1 with separate championships for Men and Ladies

We are hopeful that Ken will still be able to put together his weekly reports.
