HPH parkrun Championships parkrunday 14

This parkrunday saw 44 Hyde Park Harriers parkrunning across 12 different parkrun venues. These included not one but two at Amager Faelled
in Denmark where Ciara Crossan and Laura Cummings turned out. Julie Robson was the first Hyde Park Harrier to parkrun at Spiceball Park in Banbury.

There were three PBs this week. These were by Michael Vargas with 18:15 at Harrogate; Jonathan Mason with 22:04 at Roundhay; and Hilary Lund with 27:20 at Wakefield Thornes where she was first finisher in her age category and also topped the HPH Women’s Age Grade%s this week. Despite running as a pacer at a slower than usual 21 minutes Chris Jones was still top of the HPH Men’s Age Grade%s.

Linda Glendinning joined the parkrun 250 club with her run at Woodhouse Moor and she was presented with her 250 shirt by parkrun founder Paul Sinton-Hewitt.
