HPH parkrun Championships parkrunday 15

A rather low turnout of just 40 Hyde Park Harriers around the parkrun world this parkrunday. Perhaps our runners were saving themselves for the Leeds 10K on Sunday. Of course there was another little event in Richmond later in the day as well.

There were four PBs this week. These were by Matthew Armstrong with 21:42 at Bramley; Chris Jones with 20:23 at Dewsbury; Lesley-Ann Donnell with 25:40 and Hannah Roberts with 28:20 at Woodhouse Moor.

Jonathan Mason joined the parkrun 100 club with his run at Horton Park.

Now the one thing that catches out the HPH parkrun Python is if runners change their name during the season. Fortunately I spotted the change of name of the leader of the Men’s competition and was able to adjust the standings accordingly. I may not always be quite so alert, so if you do change your name on the parkrun website then please let me know and I’ll make sure your points get added in correctly.
