HPH parkrun Championships parkrunday 17

There were 56 Hyde Park Harriers out parkrunning across 15 different parkrun venues this week. These included a group of 15 at Conkers parkrun in Leicestershire who were also taking part in the nearby 24 hour endurance Thunder Run that started a few hours later.

There were also two Hyde Park Harriers who were the first to run at parkrun venue. These were Robin Culshaw at Stevenage and Jimmy Sheldon at Portrush in Northern Ireland which was the first parkrun in the world to be entirely on a beach.

There were five PBs this week. These were by Michelle Hancocks with 30:15 and Bev Miller with 30:22 at Oakwell Hall; Laura Edwards with 28:13 at Temple Newsam; and Alec Francis with 17:08 (and first finisher) and Marta Perricone with 26:26 at Woodhouse Moor.
