HPH parkrun Championships parkrunday 35

There were 59 Hyde Park Harriers out parkrunning at 19 different venues this week. These included Clare Maxwell who not only was the first Hyde Park Harrier to parkrun at Milan North in Italy but also first female finisher and Vicky Houghton who was the first Hyde Park Harrier to parkrun at Poolsbrook Country Park just outside Chesterfield.

There were eight PBs this week. These were by Rachel Eales with 21:14 and first female finisher at Barry Island down in South Wales; Laura Edwards with 27:59 at Bramley; Claire Hougham with 29:10 at Colchester Castle; Michael Vargas who was first finisher with 17:37 & Clare Evans with 24:33 at Roundhay; Aron Hinds with 19:31 and Nigel D’Mello with 31:29 at Woodhouse Moor; and Joe Hogg with 23:53 at York.

Phil Goose joined the parkrun 50 club with his run at Woodhouse Moor.
