HPH parkrun Championships parkrunday 37

The HPH turnout was slightly low again across the parkrun world this weekend with just 48 Hyde Park Harriers parkrunning at 13 different venues. The cold and wet conditions and people saving their energy for Sunday’s PECO XC at West Park and the fell race at Mytholmroyd probably contributed to the low turnout.

Amongst the HPH parkrunners were Liz and Chris Jones who were the first from the club to run at Witton parkrun.

There were four PBs this week. These were by Jamie Dobson who celebrated joining the parkrun 50 club with 23:50 at Pollok; Jimmy Sheldon with 19:41 and Lois Gardner with 25:01 at Woodhouse Moor; and Jaz Bangerh with 31:32 at York.

Stan Karanasios joined the parkrun 100 club with a 5th place finish in 17:48 at Woodhouse Moor.
