HPH parkrun Championships parkrunday 40

A grand total of 40 Hyde Park Harriers went parkrunning on Christmas Day in the morning this year, covering 11 different venues around the parkrun world. These included Brenda Gannon and Dan Waas who both ran at Albert Park in Melbourne, Australia and Tom Pollard who turned out for the third time at Western Springs in Auckland, New Zealand.

Claire Geeson was first female finisher at Barnsley for the 4th time. Michael Vargas was first finisher at Woodhouse Moor for the third time. There was only one PB for Hyde Park Harriers – by John Hayes with 22:41 at York.

Laura Cummings joined the parkrun 100 club with her run at Woodhouse Moor.
