HPH parkrun Championships Week 21
We had 63 Hyde Park Harriers out parkrunning this weekend at 18 different venues. These included first sightings for Hyde Park Harriers at parkruns in Blandford in Dorset by Susie Barrett; Lee-On-The-Solent in Hampshire by Lorraine Beavis; Kolobrzeg in Poland by Bartosz Lewandowski; and Sligo in Ireland by Brenda Gannon. Some cracking parkrunning this weekend by the Hyde Park Harriers including 1st and 2nd finishers at Woodhouse Moor by Chris Mann and Stan Karanasios – both with new PBs of 16:43 and 17:12 respectively; 1st finisher and a new PB of 18:47 at Bramley by Scott Watson; another 80% Age Grade% by David Womersley – this time at Bushy Park where he also set a new PB of 20:13. There were also PBs for Samantha Scarlett 24:54 at Huddersfield; Hannah Turner 21:58 at Skipton; Paul Sawyer 19:41, Gary Grant 19:49, Jimmy Sheldon 19:58 and Jennifer Gridley 21:52 at Woodhouse Moor. Laura Cummings joined the 50 club this week.
