May parkrun championship
May and the parkrun championship moved to Cross Flatts. 29 ladies and 21 men posted a time many getting course PB’s along the way.
In the ladies it was Alison Pullan who got the best age grade score from Clare Evans and Emma Brown. With April’s top scorer Amy Young not scoring this month Alison now takes the lead 3 points up on Clare and Jane-Marie Bracchi is 3rd.
In the mens Steve Rhodes took top points from Scott Watson and Philip Goose. Simon Gilbody and Gordan Crawford who were the top two scorers in April didn’t score this month so Scott Watson is now the new leader, 2 up on Chris Jones and Steve Rhodes is 3rd.
June’s parkrun of the month was one of last years new ones, and will be a 1st time for many harriers as we head to Rothwell.
