October parkrun – Middleton Woods

The HPH October parkrun championship saw us heading to Middleton Woods.  Its still fairly new and so was a great chance for many of us to head there for the first time.  2 laps, not flat but lovely area and a very nice café afterwards.

25 ladies and 18 men scored this month.  We had 4 1st finishes in Amy Young, Anna Stocks, Scott Watson and Philip Goose.  There was 11 PB’s – Anna, Clare Maxwell, Alison Pullan, Jo Rhodes, Naomi Adkins, Nicola Forward, Steve Rhodes, Chris Jones, Rick Pullan, Jack Rose and Stuart Harris.

Top point scoring lady was Amy in an age grading of 72.25, followed by Anna with 66.92 and Clare Maxwell on 61.44.

The mens was really close with Steve Rhodes coming out on top with 74.12, followed by Scott on 73.91 and Chris Jones 72.95.

After this month Alison Pullan still leads with 680 points, a full 20 up on Emma Brown with Jo Rhodes in 3rd on 643.

In the mens its looking like its going to be an epic battle to the end with Scott leading on 691 points, Chris Jones on 689 points and Steve Rhodes on 686 points.

November’s venue is Roundhay park.
