When the going gets tough, the tough HPH get going. With local parkruns at Armley, Bramley, Cross Flatts and Potternewton off due to ice, there were still 44 HPH Women and 45 HPH Men out parkrunning across 29 different venues this week.
There was only one first finishing HPH – Honor Baldry in a PB time of 21:58 at Temple Newsam. There were two other PBs. These were by Michael Gartside in 21:46 at Roberts Park and Paul Dickens in 25:58 at Hampstead Heath.
Sam Dooley joined the parkrun 250 club with his 200th parkrun at Woodhouse Moor. He also took his volunteering total up to 329 by doing the first timers’ briefing, just one of 21 different volunteering roles he has done.
Top female Age Grade% was 75.95% by Jane Prust at Victoria Park, Glasgow and top male Age Grade% was 78.78% by Steve Rhodes at Penrith.
