There were 54 HPH women and 68 HPH men out parkrunning across 55 venues worldwide this week.
Twenty-three Hyde Park Harriers travelled to try out a new course. One of these was new to the HPH list. This was Neyagawa koen in Japan by Vikki Hawkins.
Neyagawa Park is a large public green space in the eastern part of Neyagawa City in Osaka Prefecture, Japan. It has baseball fields, tennis courts, and a track-and-field area. The parkrun course is three and a half laps around the sporting facilities.
There were two first finishing Hyde Park Harriers. These were by Clare Slorach in 21:10 at Woodhouse Moor and Clare Evans in 22:44 at Jubilee in Spennymoor. There were six PBs. These were by Craig Morland with 18:57 at Woodhouse Moor; Gordon Crawford with 25:44 and Andy Judd with 26:22 at Chevin Forest; Kevin Longmate with 22:23 at Middleton Wods; Edward Hale with 19:42 at Wakefield Thornes and Joe Lawley with 28:43 at Oriam.
Mike Billingham and Muyang Zhang joined the parkrun 25 club with their runs at Woodhouse Moor and Worsley Woods respectively. Sylvia McLellan joined the parkrun 100 club with her run at Woodhouse Moor.
Top female Age Grade% was 75.32% by Lucy McKerrell at Bromley and top male Age Grade% was 77.74% by old codger veteran Chris Jones at Armley.
