There were 57 HPH women and 48 HPH men out parkrunning across 42 venues this week. Nineteen Hyde Park Harriers tried out a new course but all of them were already on the HPH list so no new ones for the club this week.
There was one first finishing Hyde Park Harrier. This was Rob Riley in 19:31 on his first visit to Brandon Country Park in the red squirrel hot spot of Thetford Forest. It also has a gothic mausoleum that is home to pipestrelle bats and a ghost who wanders the grounds dressed in knee breeches and a deer stalker and holding a human skull lit by a candle. There were ten PBs. These were by Tom Elcock with 22:32, Clare Evans with 22:53, Vicky Houghton with 23:46 and Richard Edwards with 25:36 at Bradford – all getting markers in for the HPH parkrun championships; Eleanor Williams with 23:46 at Mile End; Ciara Crossan with 27:11 at Temple Newsam; Anna Moger with 28:18 at Millfield; Jonathan Coade with 19:36 at Salcey Forest; Peter Wilkinson with 27:29 at Roberts Park; and Brenda Gannon with 22:44 at South Bank in Brisbane, Australia.
Top female Age Grade% was 72.71% by Honor Baldry in her first time at Pavillion Gardens in Buxton and top male Age Grade% was 77.45% by Michael Vargas at Bradford.
