There were 52 HPH Women and 50 HPH Men out parkrunning across 38 different venues this week. Two new venues were added to the HPH list. Cara Sass added Brixworth Country Park near Northampton where she was first female finisher in a time of 22:26. Monika Pugeviciute added Aldenham Country Park in Elstree where the course is two laps of the reservior that was excavated by French prisoners of war in 1795 to help maintain local river levels after the Grand Union Canal was built. The park is also a centre for breeding rare livestock including Aldenham Longhorn cattle, Bagot goats, Berkshire and Tamworth pigs, and Norfolk Horn and English Leicester sheep.
There were three other first finishing Hyde Park Harriers. These were Amy Ramsden-Young in 19:50 at Woodhouse Moor; Naomi Kellett in 22:49 at Kingdom, near Penshurst in Kent; and Anna Stocks in 21:53 at the University of Stirling. There were only four PBs. These were by Poppy Forwood with 38:15 at Normanby Hall; Liam Edwards with 43:30 at Bramley; Alex Fells with 21:48 at Lingwood; and Aron Fulton with 22:27 at Chevin Forest.
Chloe Brooks joined the new parkrun 25 club with her run at Woodhouse Moor.
Top female Age Grade% was 74.96% by Amy Ramsden-Young and top male Age Grade% was 69.73% by John Pratt, both at Woodhouse Moor.
