There were 48 HPH Women and 41 HPH Men out parkrunning across 38 different venues this week. Two beautiful new parkrun courses were added to the HPH list. One in Ireland at Narin Beach in County Donegal – regarded as one of the most beautiful beaches on Ireland’s Atlantic coast was added by Gary Grant. The other at Belvoir (pronounced Beaver) Castle in Leicestershire near Grantham in Lincolnshire was added by Frazer Carr.
There was only one first finishing HPH – Rebecca Gray in a PB time of 23:26 at the HPH takeover at Chevin Forest. There were nine other PBs. These were by Eleanor Parkhill in 36:14 at Pollock; Paul Dickens in 25:12 at Hampstead Heath; Eleanor Colman in 23:36 at Upton House; Rebecca Thorley in 33:17 at Potternewton; Andy Judd in 26:55, Emma Brown in 27:20, Matilda Rhodes in 33:54 and Claire Hougham in 36:41 at Chevin Forest; and Christpher Hassall in 21:56 at Roberts Park.
Catherine McGuire joined the parkrun 100 club with her run at Armley.
Top female Age Grade% was 68.38% by Jane Prust at Olham and top male Age Grade% was 66.85% by Sam Dooley at Woodhouse Moor.
