There were 96 Hyde Park Harriers out parkrunning across 34 different venues – all in the UK this week. Three new venues were added to the Hyde Park Harriers list. These were Lingwood near Norwich by Andrew Nicholls; Millennium Country Park in the Forest of Marston Vale between Bedford and Milton Keynes by Sarah Underwood; and Morecambe Prom by Tom Elcock.
There were six first finishing Hyde Park Harriers. These were Alys Griffiths at Pont y Bala in 23:11; Philip Fisher at Cliffe Castle in 20:28; Amy Young in 19:47 at Horton Park; Rebecca Gray in 21:18 at Doncaster; and a double at this month’s designated venue in the HPH parkrun Championships – Middleton Woods – where Anna Stocks was first female finisher in a PB of 21:25 and Michael Vargas was first male finisher in a PB of 17:30. There were nine other PBs. These were by Jonathan Spain in 19:15 at Woodhouse Moor; Hanah Roberts in 33:21 at Dudley; Laura Kettlewell in 26:09 at Bramley; Emma Brown in 23:02, Vicky Houghton in 25:02 and Mike Webb in 25:08 at Middleton Woods; Monika Pugeviciute in 25:47 and Heather Fulton in 26:16 at Potternewton; and Tom Mason in 22:09 at Pont y Bala.
Top Age Grade% by the ladies was 74.81% by Amy Young at Horton Park and for the men was 74.95% by Michael Vargas at Middleton Woods.
