There were 55 HPH Women and 46 HPH Men out parkrunning across 37 different venues this week. Three new venues were added to the Hyde Park Harriers’ list, two in the UK and one in Japan. The new UK venues were Tamar Trails, which is on paths in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and part of the Cornwall & West Devon Mining Landscape World Heritage Site, by Jonathan Spain; and Hazelwood which is around the training grounds of London Irish Rugby Club in Sunbury-On-Thames, by Lucy Rider. The one in Japan was Maborikaigan Yuhodo, in the city of Yokosuka by Maika Ohno.
Maika was also the only first finishing Hyde Park Harrier this week, with a time of 26:30. There were seven PBs. These were by Michelle Dickson with 26:02 at Woodhouse Moor; Niall Flynn with 21:28 at Harrogate; Ruth Hancox with 30:09 and Rommi Smith with 38:48 at Armley; Danni Bryant with 28:07, Emma Brown with 32:58 and Dominique Harris with 43:32 at Chevin Forest; and Vikki Hawkins with 28:05 at Futakotamagawa in Tokyo, Japan.
Louise Gardham joined the parkrun 100 club with her run at Woodhouse Moor.
Top female Age Grade% was 66.16% by Jane Prust at Potternewton and top male Age Grade% was 71.58% by Tom Williams at Harrogate.
