There were just 83 Hyde Park Harriers out parkrunning this week, but they managed to cover six countries and to add four new venues to the Hyde Park Harriers’ list. The international parkrunners were Jane Ellis at Faelledparken in Denmark; Dan Waas at Tøyen in Norway; Amy Young at Westpark in Munich, Germany; Gary Grant at Glen River park in Cork, Ireland; and Tom Williams at Kirra on the Gold Coast and Phil Fisher at The Ponds Community Hub in Sydney, Australia. The runs by Gary Grant, Tom Williams and Phil Fisher were new Hyde Park Harriers’ venues as was Jamie Dobson’s run at Leazes Park in Newcastle upon Tyne in the UK.

There were two first finishing Hyde Park Harriers. These were Amy Young at Westpark in a time of 19:18 and Rebecca Gray at Dewsbury in a time of 22:02. There were eight PBs. These were by Rebecca Goody with 28:11 and Robyn Johnson with 28:26 at Woodhouse Moor; Vicky Houghton with 22:58 at Hull; Chris Giglia with 21:27 at Cross Flatts; Anna Stocks with 22:20, Sarah Underwood with 23:39 and Sam Edwards with 45:32 at Oakwell Hall; and John Hayes with 24:49 at Middleton Woods.

Eleanor Colman joined the parkrun 50 club with her run at Woodhouse Moor and Amy Young joined the parkrun 100 club with her run at Westpark. Lucy Rider ad Caroline Sanders both completed their 200th parkruns with their runs at Woodhouse Moor.

Top Age Grade% by the ladies was 76.68% by Amy Young at Westpark and for the men was 73.11% by Gordon Crawford at Woodhouse Moor.
