A bit of frost and ice caused Armley and Bramley parkruns to be cancelled and that gave a bit of a boost to numbers at Woodhouse Moor where a new record turnout of 895 was recorded which included 54 Hyde Park Harriers. Overall there were 62 HPH women and 69 HPH men out parkrunning across 41 venues worldwide this week.
Fourteen Hyde Park Harriers travelled to try out a new course. None of these courses were new to the HPH list.
There was one first finishing Hyde Park Harriers. This was Peter Noren in 19:51 at Alstervorland in Germany. There were thirteen PBs. These were by Lucy McKerrel with 21:09 and Liam Edwards with 37:39 at Woodhouse Moor; Douglas Blackwood with 16:19 at York; Vicente Ponsoda with 20:39 and Nicki Derrick with 24:46 at Rothwell; Rosie Lewis with 24:48 and Jane Prust with 29:10 at Temple Newsam; Steve Worthington with 21:31 at Skipton; Steve Brown with 29:12 at Beston; Robyn Johnson with 29:33 at Morecambe Prom; Nick Shakhlevich with 19:13 at Conyngham Hall; Matilda Rhoses with 33:27 at Chevin Forest; and Jessica Wanless with 31:25 at Delftse Hout in the Netherlands.
Lucy McKerrel joined the parkrun 25 club and David Daniel joined the parkrun 50 club with their runs at Woodhouse Moor.
Top female Age Grade% was 71.50% by Clare Slorach at Heslington and top male Age Grade% was 79.06% by Douglas Blackwood at York.
