parkrunday 25th November 2017 – Hyde Park Harriers

Numbers were down a bit this week with just 54 Hyde Park Harriers out parkrunning across 12 different venues. It was probably down to a few late local cancellations due to the icy conditions including Bramley, Huddersfield and Bradford along with people saving themselves for the first PECO XC race of the season at Nostell Priory on Sunday.

Those running included Adam Jowett doing his first ever parkrun – in a highly respectable 23:45 on the revised course at Woodhouse Moor and Simon Rogers who joined the parkrun 50 club with his run at Chadderton Hall.

There was just one PB this week. It was by Honor Baldry in 24:38 at Temple Newsam.

Top Age Grade% by the ladies was 66.37% by Rebecca Gray at Woodhouse Moor – despite a shoelace needing retying on the last lap and for the men was 69.51% by Chris Jones at Brierley Forest.
