On the last parkrunday of the 2010s decade there were 100 Hyde Park Harriers out parkrunning across 44 different venues. Four new venues were added to the Hyde Park Harriers’ list. These were Seaford Beach on the south coast between Eastbourne and Brighton by Greg Billenness; Ury Riverside in Inverurie, north-west of Aberdeen by Emma Amor; East Park in Wolverhampton by Richard Edwards; and Hanworth by Tom Elcock. Hanworth parkrun is around Hanworth Air Park near Feltham. This is an historic venue in the history of aviation. It was a grass airfield in the grounds of Hanworth Park House and during the 1930s and 40s was a centre for private flying, air pageants and air races, visits by the Graf Zeppelin airship, and for aircraft manufacture.
There were seven PBs. These were by Sarah Underwood with 21:23; Cara Sass with 23:37 and Laura Garratt with 27:13 at Woodhouse Moor; Paul Dickens with 23:17 at Beeston; Alex Greenwood with 22:17 at Armley; Vicky Houghton with 25:02 at Potternewton; and Vikki Hawkins with 34:35 at Caffarella in Rome.
James Underwood and Rob Heap joined the parkrun 50 club with their runs at Woodhouse Moor and Armley respectively.
Top Age Grade% by the ladies was 76.51% by Amy Young at Fountains Abbey and for the men was 71.82% by Andrew Nicholls at Firenze, Italy.
