parkrunday 2nd December 2017 – Hyde Park Harriers

There were 70 Hyde Park Harriers out parkrunning across 16 different venues this week – all in the UK. These included Catherine Hayward who was the first Hyde Park Harrier to parkrun at Ellenbrook Fields, Hatfield and Jaz Bangerh who was the first Hyde Park Harrier to parkrun at Shorne Woods near Gravesend. There was also a large contingent of Hyde Park Harriers at York this week, no doubt taking advantage of the run anywhere option in December in the Hyde Park Harriers parkrun Championships to record a good time at the flatest, fastest local parkrun course.

There were 7 PBs this week. These were by Simon Rogers with 23:47 at Chadderton Hall; Andrew Maddock with 24:03 at Penrith; and by Robert Howard with 18:18, Aron Hinds with 18:28, Tobias Adkins with 18:36, Clare Evans with 21:49 and Naomi Farrar with 24:57 at York.

Top Age Grade% by the ladies was 69.81% by Rebecca Gray at York and for the men was 74.85% by Angus Milne also at York.
