parkrunday 2nd September 2017 – Hyde Park Harriers

There were 67 Hyde Park Harriers out parkrunning across 17 different venues around the parkrun world this week. There were two new venues for Hyde Park Harriers. These were Athlone in Ireland which was visited by Shane and Sarah Scanlon – Shane finally got round to doing a parkrun in his home town and Lac de Divonne which is in France, just over the border with Switzerland close to Geneva which was visited by Heather Fulton.

There were just three PBs this week. These were by Matthew Gray with 28:37 at Bramley; Jaz Bangerh with 31:11 at Valentine’s Park in Ilford; and Alison Pullan with 22:40 and first female finisher as well at Scunthorpe.

Graeme Miles joined the parkrun 50 club and Joe Hogg joined the parkrun 250 club with their runs at Woodhouse Moor.

Top Age Grade% by the ladies was 65.29% by Alison Pullan at Scunthorpe and for the men was 77.63% by Simon Gilbody at Woodhouse Moor.
