There were 52 HPH Women and 46 HPH Men out parkrunning across 42 different venues this week. Three new venues were added to the HPH list. These were Milford Waterfront by Laura Foster; Central in Plymouth by Kate Solomon; and Holyrood by Emma Amor. The Milford Waterfront in Milford Haven, Wales commands panoramic views of several oil refineries and one of the largest LNG terminals in the world. Central Park is the largest park in Plymouth. It was originally created in 1928 as a park devoted to the improvement of the health of city residents. Wide boulevards go through the park’s open meadows and woodlands, up and down hills with fantastic views over the city. Holyrood is Edinburgh’s latest parkrun. It is a single loop on the closed road around the royal park, starting next to St Margaret’s Loch.
There was one first finishing Hyde Park Harrier. This was Rebecca Gray in 20:46 at Nobles on the Isle of Man. There were six PBs. These were by Chloe Wilson with 25:07 at Woodhouse Moor; Jack Rose with 22:53 and Sarah Underwood with 23:30 at Keswick; Robert Butler with 23:17 at Wetherby; and Grace Roberts with 27:08 and Heather Fulton with 30:34 at Roberts Park.
Michael Gartside joined the parkrun 50 club with his run at Conwy.
Top female Age Grade% was 74.64% by Jane Prust at Endcliffe and top male Age Grade% was 69.59% by Michael Vargas at Chevin Forest.
