parkrunday 6th November 2021 – Hyde Park Harriers

There was an even split of 54 each of HPH Women and HPH Men parkrunning across 39 different venues around the parkrun world this week. Two new venues were added to the HPH list. In South Wales Comeston Lakes, south-west of Cardiff was added by Richard Knighton – where former HPH Rachel Eales was running. Laura Arendsen continued her tour of Germany by adding another one there for the second successive week – Kastanienallee in Tübingen..

There were three first finishing Hyde Park Harriers. These were Monika Pugeviciute in 24:21 at Canons Park; Rupert Jordan in 17:32 at Belton House; and Frazer Carr in 18:10 at Armley. There were 14 PBs. These were by Adam Lomas with 16:55, Jonathan Coade with 18:32 and Chris Worfolk with 19:39 at Woodhouse Moor; Robert Butler with 24:57 at Roundhay; Andrew Maddock with 26:48 at Sewerby; Eleanor Colman with 29:03 at Brockenhurst; Tobias Adkins with 17:29 at Keswick; Oliver Pryse with 23:13 at Malling; Ruth Hancox with 29:01 and Rommi Smith with 35:30 at Armley; Jane Prust with 28:56, Steven Prust with 34:42 and Jason Newell with 36:26 at Potternewton; and Vikki Hawkins with 27:11 at Futakotamagawa, Tokyo, Japan.

Andrew Maddock and Rommi Smith joined the parkrun 100 club with their runs at Sewerby and Armley respectively.

Top female Age Grade% was 68.03% by Jane Prust at Potternewton and top male Age Grade% was 76.65% by Adam Lomas at Woodhouse Moor.
