parkrunday 7th September 2019

There were 81 Hyde Park Harriers out parkrunning across 22 different venues this week. These included Rebecca & Matthew Gray and Carol & Simon Rogers who turned out at Clermont Waterfront in Florida. Other international parkrunning Hyde Park Harriers were Alexander Bell at Poolbeg in Ireland and Phil Fisher who added Centennial Park in Sydney, Australia to the Hyde Park Harriers’ venue list. Closer to home, Tom Elcock added Tawd Valley in Skelmersdale to the venue list.

There were two first finishing Hyde Park Harriers. These were Rebecca Gray in 21:59 at Clermont Waterfront and Jo Rhodes in 24:18 at Bramley. There were eight PBs. These were by Louise Gardham with 27:54 at Woodhouse Moor; Monika Pugeviciute with 24:50 at Roundhay; Dan Waas with 24:18 at Pekham Rye; Steve Rhodes with 19:49; Mark Hadrill with 20:09 and Richard Edwards with 25:56 at Bramley; and Curtis Broadhead with 19:39 and Vicky Houghton with 23:31 at Armley.

Paul Ramsden joined the parkrun 100 club with his run at Woodhouse Moor and some old bloke called Rick Pullan joined the parkrun 250 club with his run at Wakefield Thornes.

Top Age Grade% by the ladies was 70.76% by Amy Young at Woodhouse Moor and for the men was 78.22% by Steve Rhodes at Bramley.
