There were 85 Hyde Park Harriers out parkrunning across 31 different venues around the parkrun world this weekend. Two international parkruns were added to the Hyde Park Harriers’ venue list. These were the Château de Pierre-de-Bresse in Burgundy, France by Claire and James Booth and Heritage Harbor in Ottawa, Illinois, USA by Tami Bond. Tom Williams went down to North Beach in Durban as one of the 1999 parkrunners going round South Africa’s busiest parkrun venue and Clare Evans made her first visit to the home of parkrun at Bushy Park.

There were four first finishing Hyde Park Harriers. These were Heather Goodacre at Redcar in 21:33; Michael Vargas at Temple Newsam in 17:43; Rebecca Gray in 21:50 at Selby; and Clare Sorach at Potternewton in 20:43. There were 13 PBs. These were by Karly Stringer with 28:11 and Nigel d’Mello with 31:01 at Woodhouse Moor; Matilda Rhodes with 26:33 and Michael Mason with 31:08 at Rothwell; Mike Webb with 21:52 at Huddersfield; Jane-Marie Bracchi with 26:44 and Chris Bracchi with 27:58 at Fountains Abbey; Naomi Adkins with 25:43 at Keswick; Tom Mason with 22:48; Cara Sass with 24:09 and Richard Edwards with 26:53 at Middleton Woods; Vicky Houghton with 25:13 at Armley; and John Hayes with 25:39 at Potternewton.

Top Age Grade% by the ladies was 71.52% by Clare Slorach at Potternewton and for the men was 74.38% by Gordon Crawford at Woodhouse Moor.
