The snow was all gone, but replaced by torrential rain. It didn’t deter the Hyde Park Harriers though. There were 47 HPH women and 51 HPH men out parkrunning across 38 venues this week.
Sixteen Hyde Park Harriers travelled to try out a new course but none of these were new to the HPH list.
There was one first finishing Hyde Park Harriers. This was Anna Stocks in 22:32 at Roundhay. There were seven PBs. These were by Daisy Wales with 21:23 at Woodhouse Moor; Tariq Roberts with 22:59 at Black Park; Romina Masood with 30:32 at Burgess; George Sullivan with 22:08 at Fountains Abbey; Alex Greenwood with 21:44 and Sarah Jewers with 29:33 at Rothay Park; and Andrew Nicholls with 23:07 at Foro Italico.
Megan Foster and Daniel Fawcett joined the parkrun 50 club with their runs at Woodhouse Moor. Simon Rogers joined the parkrun 250 club with his run at Heaton.
Anne Akers got within 50 of the parkrun volunteer 500 club with her 450th volunteer credit at Woodhouse Moor (including 90 as Run Director, 237 as Report Writer and 47 for First Timers’ Welcome).
Top female Age Grade% was 69.21% by Daisy Wales at Woodhouse Moor and top male Age Grade% was 72.53% by Andrew Nicholls at Foro Italico.
