parkrunday Christmas 2017

There were 61 Hyde Park Harriers out parkrunning across 21 different venues on Christmas Day. These included Amy Young who was the first Hyde Park Harrier to parkrun at Castle Park in Bishop’s Stortford and Grace Wyman who similarly was the first Hyde Park Harrier to parkrun at Cranleigh in Surrey.

There were nine PBs. These were by Angus Milne with 18:04 at Albert, Middlesbrough; Laura Edwards with 25:22 at Aylesbury; Claire Hougham with 28:34 at Margate; Nicola Forwood with 23:00 at Norwich; Rafet Ongun with 28:36 at Roundhay; and Steve Rhodes with 19:38; Emma Brown with 23:40; Russell Webster with 23:55; and Jo Rhodes with 26:20 at Woodhouse Moor.

Jaz Bangerh completed her 400th parkrun with her run at Woodhouse Moor.

Top Age Grade% by the ladies was 67.27% by Clare Evans at Southport and for the men was 78.27% by Steve Rhodes at Woodhouse Moor.
