The Summer Mile 2015
A huge thanks to everyone who came out on the 1st July whether that be to run, volunteer or spectate; I hope you all agree that it was a great evening with 15 fantastically close races to watch.
We saw one course record broken in the Mens race walk event and the Mens winner was just a shade outside Dan Garbutt’s record as well so a fantastic effort by all involved and some great fast times considering the heat!
We all had a fantastic evening and have received some great feedback so far about the event;
“I’m exceptionally proud to have been in HPH colours last night.”
“That was my first time at the Summer Mile and I had a splendid time. Well organised, great food and atmosphere, brilliant location (especial thanks to whoever decided to move us to the beer garden at the end!). All in all a top evening”
“Cracking event last night! Brilliant organisation, marshaling and catering. Fantastic efforts put in by all involved!”
