There were just 87 Hyde Park Harriers out parkrunning this week, no doubt a few saving their energy for one of the big races on Sunday. They were spread across 28 different venues. They included Tami Bond who added another US venue to the Hyde Park Harriers’ list – Renton – a suburb of Seattle. Two new UK venues were also added to the list these were Alderford Lake at Whitchurch – just in Shropshire on the English side of the border with Wales by Alys Griffiths and Tom Mason; and Jubilee in Spennymoor where Naomi Kellett attended the inaugural event.

There was a double achievement for Clare Evans who ran her 200th parkrun at New Earswick where she was also first female finisher in a PB time of 22:59. Claudia Bauer also ran her 200th parkrun and Bartosz Lewandowski joined the parkrun 250 club, both with runs at Woodhouse Moor.

There were five other PBs. These were by Sam Edwards with 35:53 at Woodhouse Moor; Sam Dooley at Rothwell with 40:58; Anna Stocks with 20:49 at Cross Flatts; Gill Donaldson with 37:47 at Armley; and John Blatherwick with 21:31 at Alvaston.

Top Age Grade% by the ladies was 72.81% by Amy Young at Poolsbrook and for the men was 71.88% by Simon Rogers at Heaton.

In the HPH parkrun Championship this week there were 3 Hyde Park Harriers at October’s designated venue of Cross Flatts. The AgeGrade%s of those runs can be found here.
